The South West Chamber Choir under musical director Stephen Trahair presents ’Brother Sun, Sister Moon’, a light programme of songs and readings ranging from William Byrd to Flanders and Swann, tomorrow (June 10) at Landulph Church (7.30pm).

The concert is staged in aid of the appeal to re-lead the church tower roof.

The programme is based loosely around the elements in The Canticle of the Sun composed by St Francis of Assisi in 1225 and includes ’On Watching the Tide’, a poem composed by Dennis Silverwood for SWCC’s last visit to Landulph set to music by Helen Porter, local composer, musical director and friend of the choir.
