A charity fund that has supported good causes in South East Cornwall is open to applications.

The Cornwall Glass & Glazing Fund was set up in 2009 by Cornwall Glass & Glazing, is run in partnership with the Cornwall Community Foundation and has invested more than £50,000 in community groups.

In 2017, the fund will concentrate on supporting organisations and projects that help young people achieve their ambitions and that improve the lives of people with mental health conditions or disabilities.

Among community projects supported in 2016 were the 1st Par, St Blazey and Fowey Scout Group and the Play It Again Theatre Company, based in Liskeard.

The deadline for applications for 2017 is May 1.
