THE owner of a bookshop is retiring after almost a decade - and is inviting people in her town to bid her farewell.

Michele Laouenan says that her nine and a half years at The Bookshop in Liskeard has been a ‘very happy chapter in her life,’ but that it is time to embark on a new chapter, and spend more time with her family.

She is inviting customers to drop in to see her anytime on Friday May 4.
