A SPECIAL ceremony will take place in Looe later this month marking the anniversary of the death of 68-year-old Susan Norman in the landslide which destroyed her home in 2013.
At 2pm on Sunday, March 22, a memorial seat provided by family members and friends will be dedicated on Looe seafront to the memory Mrs Norman.
The date will be the second anniversary of the tragedy which took Susan's life, when, in the early hours of March 22, 2013, the house in which she was sleeping in Sandplace Road, Looe, collapsed, causing her fatal injuries.
It was recently announced at a pre-inquest hearing in Truro that the in-depth investigation by police and the Health and Safety Executive into the causes of the tragedy has not yet concluded.
A further pre-inquest hearig is due to take place on June 1.
Susan's family invites anyone who wishes to join them at the dedication, to be delivered by celebrant Kate Ward, on the seafront at 2pm on Sunday in the seating area to the east of the gig shed.
