Mark Mitchell has been appointed manager of the Cornwall Cricket Centre – a state-of-the-art facility on the Truro College campus at Threemilestone.

Mr Mitchell is a well-known figure in the Cornish cricket community, chiefly as co-founder of the Cornwall Youth Cricket Festival (in 1987) and as a leading member of St Gluvias Cricket Club, in Penryn, which he joined as a youngster in 1972.
