The Charles Causley Trust is hosting a poetry reading at The Bell Inn, Launceston, featuring Andrew Fentham, poet-in-residence at Causley’s old home Cyprus Well, in the town.
Also reading will be David Devanny, poet and lecturer at Falmouth University.
This will be followed by an open read-round, so people are invited to bring along a poem to share. This is a free event and will take place in the back room of The Bell Inn in Tower Street from 8pm on April 1.
It forms part of the celebrations of the centenary year of Causley, regarded as one of Cornwall’s greatest writers.
