Torpoint Carnival brings fun to the town on Saturday, September 24.

After the success of last year’s Carnival, another one is being organised by the Torpoint Town Partnership.

Local organisations and businesses are warmly invited to take part.

The event will be based at the Cambridge Field, St James Road from 12 noon, packed with stalls, sideshows and bands.

Stalls open at noon and at 3pm there’s judging for carnival walking entries in the arena.

Vehicle entries are to be judged at around 3.30pm before the procession sets off around the town.

The carnival parade will be led by the Royal Marines Volunteer Cadet Corps (RMVCC)
