Porthleven 1 Callington Town 3 The awkward journey to Porthleven is bad enough without having the game held up after just two minutes had been played. Referee Andre Howes had to go off injured and it was 20 later that the game restarted with Porth's 60-year-old secretary Vidal James running the line. The break did not appear to effect Callington who tore into their hosts with Shane Krac, David Woodfield and Krac again all going close before they finally made the breakthrough in the 20th minute. Scott Clark's back pass put Ryan Holland in trouble and his hurried clearance fell straight to Chris Gerry who promptly steered the ball into the empty net. Glynn Hobbs had a chance to increase Town's lead but shot wide before Porth hit back in the closing moments of the first half as Bryn Wheeler and Adam Bray were both denied by keeper Martin Piper. Porth's late flurry brought its reward as a superb run by Adie Hart saw him find Bray, who fired home into the corner of the net. The second half was fairly even with both sides missing chances until 20 minutes from time when a superb run by Hobbs found Paul McAdams who slotted the ball home. With four minutes remaining Woodfield's run down the right ended with him crossing for Hobbs to volley past Holland and set the seal on Town's victory.
