As part of Cornwall Care’s 21st birthday celebrations, two employees will test their endurance by taking part in the Alzheimer’s London to Paris cycle.
Tania Williams (flexicare administrator and planner) and William John (head of property) have taken up The Alzheimer’s Society challenge from July 19 to 23.
Tania and Will say they have chosen to raise money for The Alzheimer’s Society as it is one of the charities to which Cornwall Care is closely related, endeavouring to care for individuals living with varying levels of dementia.
The challenge will see them cycling from Marble Arch in London, all the way to the Eiffel Tower in Paris; around 328 miles over a period of four days.
They want to raise £5,000 for The Alzheimer’s Society to fund dementia research.
