Torpoint cruised to their third win in a row to head the table against a Launceston side who never gave up.
Dean Cardew was in rampant mood having one good effort saved and heading another Tom Payne cross just over the crossbar. Cardew had better luck on the half hour when he tucked away a Payne cross.
Torpoint made it 2-0 just before half time when Cardew intercepted a bad back pass to slide the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper. There was little to chose between the two teams in the second half but with Torpoint central defender Tom Hall outstanding the nearest Launceston came to scoring was when Paul Cowling saw his goal-bound effort pushed on to the crossbar by Torpoint goalkeeper James Sleeman.
