Most people in Saltash will be pleased to see the town come back to life, but there is a worry. I understand that tourists are to be encouraged to visit the Heritage Trail but has the Town Council given any thought to where these visitors will park.

Commuters and shoppers are already clogging the streets to such an extent that residents living around the town centre are being threatened with having to buy parking permits to enable them outside their own homes.

It is no good encouraging more visitors unless the basic need for somewhere to park is met.
