More than 5,000 people have rallied against the proposed increase in parking charges for South East Cornwall.

Cornwall Council plans to raise first-hour parking charges from 20p to 50p as well as increasing long stay parking by up to 70p per hour.

A total of 4,758 people have signed a petition against the changes. Forms were put in businesses around Liskeard.
