The annual Cancer Research Art Exhibition got under way in Liskeard last night with a launch event hosted by BBC TV weatherman David Braine.
The show has ben running for more than 50 years and it has helped to raise hundreds of thousands of pounds for the charity.
On display and on sale are paintings, photography, craft and jewellery by both professional and amateur artists.
While refreshments and lunches are served each day of the show, a fundraising ’Big Breakfast’ will be served up by volunteers on Saturday from 11am - 2pm.
Opening times at the Public Hall are 10am - 7.30pm each day except for Sunday, when they're 10am - 3.30pm.
