Thanks were extended to Mr Eric Distin who presided over the roadshow and gave a short talk on each of the objects produced by the 41 participants.
Time passed very quickly and he had little time to consider each item in detail, however people went away happy and the Museum made a profit of £141.70, with a further £29 from a raffle .

D-Day beaches coach trip
Kelly Bray based coach tour company 'Comfortable Coach tours' are to recreate a special Normandy D-Day beaches and battle sites tour, first covered by proprietor Tony Moon in l994 on the 50th anniversary of D-Day.
Other places to be visited will be Paris, Mt Saint Michel, Arromanche and Pegasus Bridge. Some of the old soldiers who went in l994 are re-joining the six-day trip, which leaves on August 27. They include former Devonshire Regiment and Duke of Cornwall Light Infantry men.
Callington Portreeve Peter Hambly and his wife Diana were among those who called on Tony and Joyce Lloyd on the day of their golden anniversary. The couple were married in Surrey 50 years ago and moved to Callington in 1963 when Tony came to work as an engineer in Tortubes in Saltash. The couple have five children, two girls and three boys, and all the family were due to arrive for a party at the Arundell Arms in Lifton, around 85. Tony is a keen member of Liskeard Model Society while Joyce says her main interests are her grandchildren and her garden. For their party the couple asked guests not to buy gifts but to give donations to the Children's Hospice South West. There was, however, one special gift. The family have given their parents a trip to Paris for a romantic golden wedding anniversary break.
