Callington SC entertained to old Division One rivals Gunnislake SC B in latest matches. The visitors took the team games by a margin of 2-1 and then three singles through Jenny Edwards, Tammy Tozer and Pam Southcott. Social Club took just one through Nicki McCabe to go down 5-2.

Tavistock Hotel visited Gunnislake SC A. Tavy started well, taking the team games 2-1. They then took two singles through Lorrainne Chesworth and Jean Jacob. Gunny also took two through Margaret Stidwell and Sheila Pearce, but it was not enough and they went down 4-3.

Callington SC 2, Gunnislake B 5- Chief scorers, Call SC: P Freeman 118, 100; J Morris 100 x 2; N McCabe 119. Gunn SC B: T Tozer 120; J edwards 140, 123, 100 x 3; P Southcott 140, 110, 100.

In Division Two the League's top two, Callington CC Scorers and Coryton Arms, met at Cricket Club. Scorers took the team games 2-1, but only managed one single through Denise Hughes. Coryton took three through Lindsay Nicholls, Wendy Knight and Rose Knight for a fine 4-3 victory.

Stoke Climsland SC B played host to Callington CC Spinners this week, with the visitors getting a good start, taking all three team games. Stoke hit back, taking the first three singles through Sandie Palmer, Carolyn Smith and Barbara Sleep to level matters. Spinners took the match when Jill Horsman beat Mon Stockman for a 4-3 victory.

In the Inter-Divisional challenge, Bulls Head had a comfortable 6-1 win over visitors Stoke Climsland SC A to take the tie 10-4.
