The league held its singles and presentation evening at Gunnislake SC on Monday.
The singles championship was played on the night, with 48 players starting. Last year's champion Lorrainne Chesworth retained her title. She had five great wins over Gunn SC A's Cathy Startup, Callington SC's Angela Howard, Callington CC's Jill Horsman, Gunnislake SC B's Jenny Edwards and Tavistock Hotel's Val Downing to reach the final. Here she met Callington SC's Phyl Freeman, with the latter having victories over Coryton's Amanda Burt, Stoke Climsland SC's Mon Stockman, Coryton Arms' Jane Sturgess and Callington CC's Tracey Kelly. The final saw Lorrainne beat Phyl 2-1 in a fine match.
The presentations saw the following winners: Division One - Champions, Gunnislake SC B; Runners-up Tavistock Hotel; Division Two - Champions, Callington CC (Scorers); Runners-up, Coryton Arms.
Molly Bickell KO Cup Winners - Callington CC (Scorers); runners up - Tavistock Hotel.
Inter-Divisional Winners - Tavistock Hotel; runners up - Gunnislake SC B.
Most wins in division one - P Freeman (Call SC); M Stidwell (Gunnislake SC A); P Southcott (Gunnislake SC B); R Dawe (Bulls Head) and T Monahan (Gunnislake SC B) all played eight and won six.
Division two - most wins, D Hughes (Callington CC Scorers) played eight and won eight.
Most 100's, Division One - V Downing (Tavistock Hotel), 22. Division Two - L Nicholls (Coryton Arms), 17. Highest shot-out - D Hughes (Callington CC Scorers), 103.
180's - Jane Sturgess and Mary Borlase (Call CC Spinners). The awards were made by the league chairlady Phyl Freeman. This concluded a very successful summer season.
