Tamar Crossings and local company Fotonow CIC are looking for young musicians from South East Cornwall and Plymouth to produce music videos in celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Tamar Bridge.
Part of a series of community events planned to mark the anniversary of the bridge, in October, the ‘Under the Bridge’ music project will see the creation of five music videos, which will be featured online as well as potentially projected during the celebratory events.
Matthew Pontin from Fotonow CIC said: “we are looking for individual musicians, duos, and bands to work with us in scripting and shooting the music videos.
“Each band and musician will receive £100 honorarium payment for taking part in the project, as well as use of their final video.”
The videos will be made during July and August so anyone interested needs to send a music track they think would be suitable for a video, together with 200 words setting out how they would feature the bridge in the video to [email protected] as soon as possible.
The final selection will then be made by a musician with staff from the Bridging the Tamar Visitor Centre.
