A CALL has gone out from Liskeard’s Ploughman’s Festival for volunteers to help ‘lift and shift’ the day before the event.

The free festival featuring a host of live music, children’s activities, local produce and more is set to take place at Westbourne Gardens and on The Parade on Saturday, August 19.

The small team behind the music part of the festival say they would appreciate a hand with setting up and dismantling the staging in the park.

Anyone who could volunteer a small amount of time on Friday, August 18, or on Sunday, August 20, should post a message on the Ploughman’s Festival Facebook page or call or text 07809 570363.
