Work to transform the former Guildhall toilets building in East Looe into a cafe are proceeding at a good pace, says the East Looe Town Trust (ELTT).
The trust, which owns the building known as the Guildhall Forecourt, was given planning permission for the project last autumn.
While the trust is paying to have work on the shell of the building done to bring it up to current specifications, the interior fitting out will be done by the leaseholder.
A tender for the work has been awarded to Plymouth based restaurateur Yazin Azizi to run the cafe.
