BUSINESSES and residents are being asked to give their views about measures that would make re-opening easier.
Liskeard Town Council says it’s working with local businesses and Cornwall Council to make the town centre as safe and welcoming as possible as lockdown eases.
’We are already planning information posters and temporary street markings to help with this,’ said mayor Rachel Brooks.
’We would also like your views on larger temporary measures.’
A short survey has gone live at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/KY5SKH3 and responses need to be in by Monday (June 22)
The survey asks people for their opinion on a range of proposals that could be brought in.
Among these are: reducing the speed limit to 20mph on Bay Tree Hill; putting barriers or cones out to widen the footway in certain places; getting rid of on-street parking – or conversely, providing more parking bays; and open air markets in the former Cattle Market.
