High street traders are being encouraged to cover a Queen song and land a spot on prime time TV.
Visa’s 2019 Christmas campaign is urging people across the country to support their independent local businesses.
After the popularity of last year’s Visa advert, which inspired many retailers to spontaneously create their own version, Visa has come up with a new idea for this festive season.
This year, independent traders are being invited to create a copycat videos based on Visa’s 30 second ad, and cover the Queen song ’Somebody to Love’.
Anyone who enters a competition being run in conjunction with the campaign will stand to win a prime-time Christmas advertising spot on national TV.
Full details of the competition can be found at www.visa.co.uk/whereyoushopmatterscompetition.
Entries close at midnight on December 1.
Last year, traders in Liskeard went viral with their own version of ’The 12 Days of Christmas’.
