A NEWLY-refurbished supermarket in East Looe has been officially declared open by the town’s mayor, Councillor Armand Toms. The Co-operative food store has been closed for around 10 days while work was carried out to improve the store layout and allow for disabled access. After a tour of the premises, Cllr Toms said he was impressed with the newlook shop, which he said was now better defended from flooding risk. East Looe’s other Co-operative store is due for a facelift in April, said the mayor.
