The Notter Bridge Inn has had a £48,000 investment and the town’s Railway Inn has seen trade almost double on the back of a £45,000 investment, said the business.
The Railway is the first pub in the county to be operated under Enterprise’s Beacon managed tenancy model.
At The Railway Inn, improvements included an internal redecoration, a new bar and improved toilets, plus enhancements to the front elevation.
Improvements to The Notter Bridge included a full external decoration and a new conservatory, which along with the end of the pub forms the dining area offering 40 covers.
Divisional director for Enterprise Andrew Younger said: ’In the past 10 months we have made investments totalling £498,000 in Cornwall. That’s something we can be proud of, and we will continue to invest in the region working in partnership with our publicans to help them run great pubs that are at the heart of the local community.’
