An event aimed at anyone running a business in Liskeard is to be hosted by the Town Council.

The networking meeting from 5pm on Thursday (November 15) at the Eliot House Hotel will be the chance for people to hear about opportunities for development and expansion coming up in the town.

Liskeard Town Council has recently received a report which shows there is demand for more employment space in the town - and the Council is actively pursuing plans to create such space as well as a new agri-hub facility.

A Town Council spokesperson said: ‘With the adoption of the Liskeard Neighbourhood Plan, the Cattle Market project underway and the recent completion of the demand assessment in respect of employment space and an agri-hub in Liskeard, there are great business opportunities on the horizon.’

All from the business community are welcome to the meeting, which is being supported by Liskeard Police, the Growth Hub, Skills Hub, Federation of Small Businesses, Liskeard Chamber of Commerce, Liskeard Town Forum and Acceleration Through Innovation (ATI).
