A former student of Looe Community Academy has been appointed Head of Banking at the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC).

Andrea John’s latest role follows on from her nine years’ experience in financial services regulation in the UK, primarily at the FSA. She moved to Jersey in May this year having been most recently employed at the Bank of England.

Andrea, 38, attended Duloe Primary School, Looe Community School and St Austell College before going on to study at Oxford University.
