FREE parking is still available in some towns during the remainder of the festive season.

Residents have been able to park for free locally on one day selected by their local council to support trading in town centres.

Liskeard Town Council has supported free parking on Saturdays in December, with the concession available this week and next week, December 23.

In Lostwithiel, the town council provides free parking all year round.

Torpoint has free parking on Saturday, December 16, in Anthony Road and Tamar Street car parks.

In Saltash, there’s free parking next Friday, December 22, in Alexandra Square, Bellevue West, Bellevue East and Culver Road car parks.

Cawsand has free parking on New Year’s Day.

Free parking has already taken place this festive season in 61 car parks across Cornwall including Fowey, Callington and Looe.?All Cornwall Council car parks are clearly branded and the Council will be displaying posters about the parking offer at the charging points on the day when parking is free.
