People in Cornwall wanting to become an apprentice with the county’s top employers are being urged to attend recruitment event ‘Get Hired’.

The Cornwall College Group and CCB will be hosting its fourth annual apprenticeship recruitment events this spring, with an event being held in Devon for the second time.

Taking place on Wednesday, April 25 across the Saltash, St Austell, Camborne and Bicton College campuses, Get Hired will run from 5pm to 7pm.

Employers attending this year with current apprenticeship vacancies include:  Pendennis Shipyard, Tecker, The University of Exeter, Ocean Housing Group, Persimmons Homes, The Wrigley Company (Mars Group), Eden Project, Logan Electronics Ltd, Cotel Telecom (UK) Rental, Wales and West, Furgo GeoServices, Polymermedics, Penlee House, YGS Landscape, Pall Aeropower, Creative View Limited, The Little Cornish Pantry, Persimmon Homes, Rothamstead Research, Blue Flame and many more.

Vacancies on offer cover engineering, horticulture, carpentry, electrical, trowel, food and beverage, web media, sign making and graphic design, business admin and laboratory work.
