So the youngsters of Sunrising/Churchlands would like a skate park. I would ask do they deserve facilities for their enjoyment?
Over the last few years I have seen our bus shelter on the bottom green of Sunrising systematically vandalised. It has been repaired countless times, now it has been taken away by the company who installed it. Of course none of these responsible would admit to vandalism nor their parents believe their off-spring responsible.
They have deprived older members of the community of this much used shelter.
