For anyone who has celebrated the festive season a little to enthusiastically then a beginners course in badminton might prove ideal. It will enable one to get a little gentle exercise and perhaps burn off some of those extra pounds which most people put on over this period.
A Caradon Adult Education Beginners Badminton Course will commence on Tuesday January 18 at the Millennium Centre, Pensilva. It starts at 7 pm and will run for 10 weeks in all.
The tutor Malcolm Cooper has been coaching students of all standards for the last six years and always aims for a relaxed and friendly atmosphere in which to learn this most enjoyable of racket sports.
The game is suitable for people of all ages and the only equipment needed is some sports clothing and footwear.
For anyone who already plays badminton beyond the beginners standard then an improvers course is available. Starting on the same date at the Millennium Centre but at a later time of 8.30 pm also for a further 10 weeks.
For further information and fees for those courses phone Caradon Adult Education on 01579 345384.
