Pupils from Duloe primary school organised a bring and buy sale, after school hours, in aid of the Mozambique flood disaster fund.
The project was their own idea after they saw pictures of the devastation in Mozambique on TV. The letter that was sent out to all the parents informing them of the sale was put together by the children themselves with no help from any adults.
Class Two organised stalls, games, competitions and tombola. Many parents, pupils and local residents came along to support the sale. A total of £113.25 was raised which has been sent off to the disaster fund.
