RESURFACING on the Tamar bridge roundabout will be carried out later this month.

The work is set to take place overnight between 7pm - 6am on March 19 and 22, and between 11pm - 6am on March 20 and 21.

A contraflow system will be used to manage traffic over the roundabout as work is carried out, with a 10 mph limit on both carriageways.

‘Routine inspection has revealed that the Tamar roundabout needs to be resurfaced in order to keep the road in good condition for motorists,’ said a spokesperson for Highways England.

‘We have chosen to do this work ahead of the busy tourist season and at a time which will cause least disruption to commuters and residents alike.’
