A MEMBER of head office at Ginsters in Callington is set to jump from a building for charity. Ginsters' operations director Ray Handly is taking part in the 'get your boss to jump off a building' event, which has been put together by national children's charity, CHICKS (Country Holidays for Inner City Kids). Ray said: 'The challenge went out to all of the Ginsters board – but it appears that I am the only one brave enough, or reckless enough to make the leap! 'I get a real buzz out of this sort of thing, so I am really looking forward to it and have set myself the goal of raising £1,500.' CHICKS is a registered charity, based in Tavistock, and provides free respite breaks for disadvantaged children from across the UK at their centres in Devon and Cornwall. Event organiser Nicola Bean said: 'Ginsters have been supporting CHICKS for the past seven years and we are delighted that the staff will be getting behind Mr Handly in this challenge. The event will take place at the National Marine Aquarium, Plymouth, on Saturday, September 22.
