MORE than £750 has been donated to a charity which helps sufferers of epilepsy. Two cheques were presented to charity Kt's Fund, which was set up by the family of Katie Hallett who died from epilepsy on January 13, 2006, aged 20. Martha Jupe, the clothes shop in Liskeard, donated a cheque of £420 which was raised by fashion talks given by owner Rose Burn throughout the year. Tapenades restaurant also gave a £350 cheque which was raised by their annual charity dinner to mark the opening of their business. The aim of the fund is to support the epilepsy bereaved and those with epilepsy and their families in the local community.
