A PROJECT putting food on the plates of local families in need has been given a boost by local businesses.

The Liskeard and Looe Food bank will use the £2,800 donated by the Cornwall C100 Club to improve its storage and handling facilities.

Jeremy Miller of Millerson estate agents and Kati Bawden of Cornwall Glass are both members of the C100 Club, an organisation which brings likeminded businesses together. Members pool charitable giving in order to support local community groups across Cornwall.
