Pensilva produced an excellent performance to beat Maker with Rame 2—0 on Saturday. Both of their goals came from the prolific Michael Rendle whose first goal was an outstanding effort while his second was a simple tap in that denied his team mate Mark Green a goal. Mark Tuck also hit a post as Pensilva dominated the game.

Defensively, Richard Rendle kept another clean sheet while the central defensive partnership of Jimmy Miles and Daniel Skews was commanding. Pensilva did suffer a couple of injuries however; Pete Collins was taken to hospital with a badly cut head and a more serious inujry befell Danny Hoskin: he injured his back so badly that he could barely walk although his dance moves were still as extravagant than usual in the nightclub that evening.

Young Skews was awarded man of the match: his recent performances have improved since he had his hair cut and got rid of that head band!
