These two sides produced a hard fought and well contested match although quality football and goalscoring opportunities were each at a premium.

The solitary goal came shortly before the half-time interval. Paul Tomkies won the ball 30 yards from goal and then produced a perfect shot to find the top corner.

The pattern of the second half was one of the visitors continually attacking. However, despite losing both Neil Kinger and Chris Adams through injury, Gunnislake once again defended well and ensured that their goal was rarely threatened.

This Saturday sees an in-form St Minver visit Gunnislake. On Sunday afternoon Gunnislake play St Stephens Borough at Langsford Park, Tavistock. And on Tuesday evening Gunnislake play their third fixture in four days when St Anns Chapel visit them.
