Tony Gosling struck the first blow for Polperro after five minutes of this division four encounter driving the ball hard home from the edge of the box. Del Palfrey rose majestically to head home Polperro's second 10 minutes later and Jordan Whaley tapped in from a goalmouth scramble to make it 3-0 by the break.

Matt King had the home defence in all sorts of problems with a string of first half corners and straight after the restart he fired in another which was well met by Palfrey making it 4-0. King grabbed the fifth for himself and Whaley completed the scoring, with a lot of help from a defender, in the closing stages.

Despite the sticky, uneven surface, Polperro played a good passing game with Palfrey, Jamie Lewis and Mark Pengelly standing out in another good all round team performance.
