This game was what local derbies are all about. At this level it had everything.

Played at a furious pace Callington got in front from a penalty, Keiron Ruck picking his spot after being brought down in the midst of a strong run. Calstock drew level 10 minutes later and took the lead when Callington failed to clear, although the second goal came from a sweeping move which could have been cleared. Calstock went further ahead early in the second half but Callington set up a grand stand finish by forcing an own goal from Calstock.

Callington did get the ball into the Calstock goal but the Referee disallowed it and awarded a free kick to Callington on the edge of the penalty area for hand ball and Calstock cleared the free kick and were awarded the game on a controversial decision.
