With this being a re-arranged fixture and the first team at home, Callington had to play this cup tie, up at Duchy College, and for the second week running the strong winds spoilt what could have been a very entertaining game.

Playing against the wind in the first half Callington enjoyed the majority of the play, the first chance came after only 10 minutes following some good build up play the ball fell to Gregory who beat his marker to get to the bye-line and square the ball back to Truscott who missed the target from six yards. The next good chance came with only 20 minutes gone a great through ball from Jury released Taylor who calmly slotted the ball past the advancing keeper from 14 yards.

Godolphin did have their moments, but solid defending from Hunt and Reid kept them at bay in the second period Godolphin barely got out of their half and chances again came and went as Callington failed to kill of the opponents Gregory had a fierce 10 yards shot which was saved by the keeper, Barford whose tireless running at defenders had two good efforts just wide, and Truscott who shot wide from 12 yards, with 15 minutes remaining Godolphin got themselves back into this game which should have been all over by now, a long ball from midfield found Chapman who cut inside Shorten and Druid his shot low into the bottom corner From the kick off Callington dominated play and with five minutes remaining following a poor clearance, Truscott was on hand to get the final touch and seal this cup tie where Callington now have a home match against Delabole in the quarter final.
