With the first team visiting St Stephen, the seconds entertained St Stephen Res, on a blustery afternoon at Rally Park. Both teams are pushing for promotion with Lanreath having the increased incentive of being able to leap frog their opponents to fourth in Duchy Three.

For the second week running Lanreath opted to play against the typhoon like winds and went into the break 2-1 up after a brace of fine individual goals from the inform Andy 'Handy' Lewis.

The second half was one way traffic. Lanreath extended their lead through Shane 'The Speed' Vine (2), the second an exquisite run down the left culminating in a fine angled shot past a sprawling St Stephens 'keeper. The visitors pulled one back, but with 10 minutes to go, veteran Jim Vine rounded off a solid performance with the goal that buried Saints.

Ron Ramos was chuffed with his troops who now find themselves in a strong position in the league but with keeper Shepley globe trotting soon and ongoing suspensions and injuries Lanreath are looking to strengthen their squads.
