LISKEARD’S summer flower baskets are blooming and this year, the team behind some of the displays has had support from Morley Tamblyn Lodge.

Liskeard in Bloom approached Morley Tamblyn to see if the day centre for people with learning disabilities would like to get involved in the project.

The centre has given over the use of one of its large greenhouses, plus water and electricity, to the Liskeard in Bloom (LIB) group, and it is hoped that more collaboration with take place over the coming months.

As a gesture of thanks, tomato plants grown by LIB are being sold at Beddoes in Fore Street, with funds to be donated to Morley Tamblyn.
