A special blessing will take place in a Cornish cemetery on Thursday.
Saltash Town Council has announced that the Rev Cathy Sigrist will bless a rose named Sweet Child of Mine in the area of St Stephen’s Cemetery, Saltash, where babies are laid to rest.
The rose has been planted in memory of babies who have been lost before 24 weeks’ gestation.
The rose has been donated by the charity, Eva’s Little Stars.
The blessing will take place at 6pm.
