LOOE Churches Together are running a series of sessions where people can reflect on their experiences during Covid.
The Big Covid Debrief is designed to create spaces where people can talk about their experience giving them time to reflect.
A spokesperson said: ‘Covid-19 has been a mixed and complex experience. Initially, for some, it was a hidden gift but as lockdowns continued there have been hugely negative impacts. We have seen mental health struggles, domestic violence and loneliness rise sharply. We have been separated from loved ones, unable to celebrate, unable to grieve and unable to plan. Our faces have been covered, our lives have been restricted and connection points have been cut off. We have had to adjust everything that we have previously known due to this unprecedented event. The Big Covid Debrief will maybe encounter a measure of healing as we begin to move forward.’
The venue for the sessions is Riverside United Church in West Looe and they will be held, until 30 October, on Wednesday evenings between 7 and 9pm and on Thursday and Saturday mornings between 10am and 12.
