One of the last batch of housemates to go into the Big Brother house describes herself as a nomadic type - but her roots are in South East Cornwall.

Brooke Berry lives in London and makes her living as a freelance graphic designer, but she went to school in Looe and in Saltash, where her parents still live.

The 21 year old is a lesbian and one of her reasons for going into Big Brother was to represent people with a minority lifestyle.

She also writes a blog about Buddhist values and mindfulness, and hopes to bring the values she lives by into the house if she can.

The 13 housemates face the first of the weekly Big Brother evictions on Friday.
