Premier Division leaders Torpoint Athletic kept up their charge at the top with a 1-0 victory at Probus.

After playing some lovely football, they secured the points through a penalty kick from Jason Bates on the hour-mark.

The goal inspired the home team into action and they created a number of chances in the closing 30 minutes, but were unable to capitalise.
