STAFF from Barclays Bank in Torpoint organised a sponsored walk through Mount Edgcumbe Park to raise money for the Cornwall Air Ambulance. Staff and families from the branch, as well as colleagues from Plymouth, joined together for the walk. Starting and finishing at Cawsand, they walked to Cremyll via Maker Church, Picklecombe and The Minadew. They raised £586 and this was 'match funded' by Barclays. A cheque for £1,172 was presented to paramedic supervisor Kevin McSherry on Monday. Kevin said: 'This is a privilege and honour to receive this cheque. 'Living locally and receiving this from local people on behalf of the Cornwall Air Ambulance is wonderful.'
