BURRATON County Primary School was presented with a cheque last week for £500 as a gift from the Bank of Scotland NatWest. Presenting the cheque was the assistant manager of the Saltash Branch, Les Herbert who is a parent governor and treasurer of the Parents and Friends Association at the school. The money from the Community Cash bank award scheme will help provide the school with playtime equipment and facilities said the head teacher, Martin Bell, who received the cheque for the school. The Bank encourages their employees to be involved with the community and Mr Herbert and Caroline Dean have both been involved with Burraton school serving on the school parents and Friends committee.
