TORPOINT Athletic have moved quickly to fill the gaps left by the departure of both their first and second-team managers.

Stuart Dudley resigned after a successful season as manager of the Peninsula Premier Division side, while Ricky Cardew relinquished his post as second-team manager to concentrate on the position of director of football at The Mill.

Torpoint chairman Phil Whitworth issued a statement confirming both appointments, saying: 'Torpoint Athletic officially announce that Scott Bamford has been appointed as manager of our South West Peninsula League side.
