RESIDENTS from four estates in Liskeard got the chance to discuss issues with local service providers at a bacon sandwich drop-in morning. Tenants and residents of Lake Lane, Pengover, Park View and Park Road turned out for the event last week. The drop in, run by Lake Lane Tenants and Residents Association, gave people the chance to find out more about children's centres and activities, training and volunteering opportunities, crime prevention and benefits for pensioners. The leader of Caradon District Council, John Turner, said: 'There are all sorts of opportunities and local services out there, but some people don't know who to ask for information or advice. 'The drop-in day provided the chance for tenants and residents to have an informal chat in a relaxed atmosphere with everyone, from the Citizens Advice Bureau and Jobcentre Plus to Link into Learning and Caradon Local Opportunities Partnerships.'
