A TOP children's author, Susanna Gretz, will be sharing her secrets about how to create picture books, with youngsters attending a special workshop session at Torpoint Library on Wednesday, September 29. The Picture Book Workshop is taking place between 3.30pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, September 29, as part of this year's Wonderful Words Book Festival. The workshop is aimed at children between the ages of seven and 14, with Susanna demonstrating how her popular stories go from ideas, to finished books. Susanna's Teddy Bear stories inspired the Teddybears series on TV. Her pig story 'It's Your Turn, Roger' won a special award. Her stories are filled with crocodiles, squirrels, and a range of other creatures, as well as teddy bears and pigs.
